Dollar store Valentines
Wow two posts in one day
This post is geared to Valentines ....
Easy DIY... you may remember this from last year..
Welcome !
It's been years since I made these cute rosettes.
They have been popping up in blogland
with Valentine Day coming up so I thought lets make some
rosettes.....
They are very easy to make.
Here are the supplies you will need:
red felt
green felt
a glue gun
I cut out circles with my Sissix but you can use the lid off a canning jar.
Cut out your circle and then cut a spiral .
Start to roll your felt as seen here in the above picture.
then use your hot glue gun to secure rosette to the bottom.
Cut out your leaves with the green felt and glue them to the bottom of the rosette.
Here I have used mine with a $store cup and added bakers
twine to a teabag and glued the twine to the rosette.
So cute !!
Now wouldn't you enjoy a cup of tea with a cute rosette
hanging off your cup.
When you are finished with the tea bag just cut off the string and you have a cute rosette to reuse or just display....
These would make cute inexpensive gifts!!
Hope you all are having a fantastic
creative day!!
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to leave
a comment.

It's a New Year and a DIY
Hello all my friends!
I can't believe it's already the middle of January and this is my first post.
If you have been keeping up with me you would have known that
I have had computer issues... Well that's all behind me now
that I have a new laptop..
Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year!!
I know that Santa was great to us all!!
Thought I would start the new year with a DIY ...
I had put together this simple arrangement for my table
before Christmas and I couldn't share it with you.
First up I purchased this ironstone dish while
at a Christmas Show in Markham.
Love at first sight...only $10.00
I knew the moment I saw it what I was going to use it for.
I purchased 3 poinsettia's in red.
4" pots.
Then I cut up some burlap to cover the pot
and added a wooden ornament with some jute
Easy and cute don't you think?
Now comes the serving dish....I placed a plastic tray upside down
to give height in the dish then I covered it with burlap
so as not to see it.
The three Pointsettia fit perfect.
My first look I added some candy canes
Then I added some painted pinecones that I had added
white craft paint just to the tops.
Here's the two looks on my kitchen table.
I liked this look best of all.
Oh I have so many pictures still to watermark and share
but that will have to be another day.
Happy Wednesday Everyone!
Always happy to hear from you!
Thanks for stopping by!
