Fall Decorating

How do you decorate for fall?
Fall is definitely in the air. The night temps have dropped and there is a chill in the air.
The leaves have started to change colour and the pumpkins are plentiful in the fields.
So lets take a tour ... Let's see how I decorate for fall.
First my front door,
upon entry my pumpkin quilt welcomes you.
Up the stairs and to the right is our living room.
My coffee table is decorated with a huge pumpkin. Don't you just love working with raffia and fall leaves.
Up on the shelf  is my turkey platter and a few pumpkins.

On to the kitchen,
my white hutch is putting on a show of red and white with pumpkins, roosters and fall leaves.
On the table  a new burlap runner that I just made... So easy peasey, just measure your table and add 20" to the length and cut the width at 18". Now start pulling the threads.. and there you go a cute table runner.
Beautiful sunflowers and bees.
It's best to invest in good sunflowers that will take you from season to season.
I purchased these at Michaels. My white pitcher is from IKEA and my crow is from Michaels. I collect brown and white transferware.  My little pumpkins are from Dollarama.
My white pumpkin sits high on a black iron stand with a bit of raffia ties it together.....    A red leaf and my orange candle are set nicely with my black Royal Doulton dish on top of the stove.
I love my little rooster lamp and it is set off with another white pumpkin high up on the pine cupboard.
What's fall with out some candy corn. Yummy.
Won't you please join in the fall party...

  13. Oh I just love your fall quilt. Everything just looks great. This year I went out and bought a fall place setting for my table. I decorated the center and bought a new table cloth. I also have a scarecrow and decos outside at the mailbox.
    Happy Fall
    Hugs,
