Festive Urns,Lanterns, Wall Planters, Christmas Stockings

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!
I woke at 7 am this morning and looked outside to find it snowing.
That's not uncommon for this time of the year, but I prefer it to
snow at Christmas. I'm not ready for the white stuff yet.

Well it did get me into the Festive Spirit.
So I went about filling my black urn with BC Pine, Cedar Branches, and  White Birch Branches .I also dried my hydrangea flowers and sprayed them with gold paint.
Then I filled my lantern with willow balls that are painted red. Added a plaid ribbon to set it off.
I had greenery left over so I filled  the wall planter that was between the garage doors.
How stunning both appear.

Now I know the front door is hard to see, but
here is why.

I knew the front door needed some dressing
as well.
So I went to my sewing studio and whipped up this cute stocking with piping as well.
I filled it with bags and then I added a cute bear, a book , a candy cane and a bell.
I hung it on my wreath that I had made of pine cones and some red berries.

Since I'm in a productive mode I started on this little project. Any ideas what it might be?
Here is a small clue.
In a couple of weeks I will have my house decorated for the upcoming Festive Season,CHRISTMAS!!

  9. So pretty! I used old branches with a bit of spray paint to make them black and then I put them around pumpkins in my planters at Halloween.

    We should have snow soon...:)
