French Country Sale

French Country Sale.....

We were off to Bloomfield, Ontario last Friday to a country sale that I would not miss.
Up at 6 and on the road by 7. We arrived at 10 am. The sale started at 8.
It runs every spring and fall. Full of antiques and collectibles. This is going to be a long post
so sit back and relax.
I hope you enjoy the tour......

Here are the items that I purchased.

A bell like item with a pineapple finial. $2.00

2 beautiful vases to add to my collection of transferware $8.00 ea.

a garden artifact $10.00

dried flower arrangement $8.00

tin hanging basket $18.00

iron plate rack $ 8.00

Here is how I have displayed the garden artifact
 and the flower arrangement.

I hung the tin basket on my covered porch and
added some daisys.

The two blue and white vases sit on my white hutch.

I have filled the plate rack with my antique dishes and
they are on display on my island.

Now the bell like item needs a little freshening up.
Out with the chalk paint.
That reveal at a later date.

Thanks for coming by and all your sweet comments.
Have a great week
Linda

  9. Linda you got some amazing treasures at the sale. We camp once a year near Bloomfield to go to the Sand Banks. I didn't know about the sale. Do you know when the fall sale is? I would love to go. It is an hour an half drive for us.

  19. Looks like you hit the jackpot! That bell like item you showed looks like a lid to a glass hurricane with a matching iron base. I have one that I'm not using at the moment. I bet that's what that is. Can't wait to see what you do with it! Love the things you found.
