Carrots, Carrots, easy tutorial
Welcome!!
Easter is just around the corner!!
These are so cute and easy to make.............
A few years ago my grandaughter and I made these cute carrots over Spring break.
So lets get started
Supplies you will need:
scissors
fabric, I used drop cloth
thread
orange craft paint
green craft paint
poly stuffing
Cut 20" x 8.5 "
fold triangle in half and sew the long edge.
making sure the tip is closed.... This makes the carrot shape.
turn carrot right side out
stuff with poly stuffing leaving a 4" top.
Now fasten off with thread or raffia.
Cut slits around 1" at top
This will become the greens.
Now it's time to paint..
orange on the carrot
then green on the slits.
also paint some green on the orange....
Now hang them out to dry.
You can make different sizes by cutting out smaller or larger
just make sure that you have a triangle.
Have some fun!!
Thanks for visiting!!
