Hostess gifts/party Favours

Ever wonder what to bring to a gracious hostess that has everything????

These cute Daffodils in their own wee peat pots are the cutest gift ever!!

Especially for the plant lover.......

When the flower dies off cut the stems down and plant directly into the garden

when the  frost is out of the ground....

Then every spring your Hostess has a cute flower popping up reminding them of

you.....

It could be small Grape Hyacinths,   Crocus, Tulips...........etc.

Why not decorate your table for Easter with them and give them to your guests as

they leave. Thanking them for the wonderful time you had with them......

Many, Many,   ideas.......................

Do you want to know how?????

Purchase a large container of miniature Daffodils...........

Also at the nursery buy these cute peat pots.................

Now I could not just leave them plain so I white washed them and added a cute Easter label.....

You can find so many printable labels on line.

I added more paint on top of the label.........

Once they were dry It was now time to plant...........

In a large pail I removed the individual plants from the large container and used the excess

soil to fill them..............

Then they were watered and the tops were covered with moss.

To finish them off I added  cute lilac ribbon .

Because it's an Easter theme I added these cute Lindt chocolate bunnies.

My Daffodils in large container was $5.99
peat pots  I already had......
Moss $store
craft paint from my collection
ribbon from my stash
tags/labels found online

So if you are ever unsure of what to give .............

Why not give cute individual plants......................

                                         Thanks for visiting!!

                               Linda

  8. Very sweet, Linda. Would never have thought of using the peat pots in that way - always just think of them as seedling pots.

    Happy Easter!!
