Linda, I'd bet the smell is just divine, the view sure is. Lavender is something that I want to plant this year. You know, out of everything that I grow, I've never grown lavender. Don't know why~but it's a must for me this year. Have a fabulous weekend!
There are a couple of lavender farms here in my area, but I haven't caught them in bloom. Gotta make sure we get out there this year as they are in their glory.
