Hello friends!!
Well I'm back from my fabulous weekend in the BIG CITY!!
Remember on Friday I mentioned that I was going to Toronto
with my daughters, grand daughter, and sister and friend...
Well we had a fabulous time.
First off we stopped here
The Eaton Centre.......I wonder if they will change their
name one day since there is no longer a Eatons.
The very first store I entered ZARA it was awesome.
I bought this cute bag...
One side red the other pink....Too cute don't you think!!
Then we stopped at this store WILLIAMS SONOMA...
Took a few pictures .........
Loved these dishes...and look at the faux lemons with the sunflowers.........I'll have to remember that one for the fall table.
Would have loved to take home this juicer.......
then I was asked not to take any more...
HMMMM not nice.....
Anyhow.......off we went......
Next stop Abercrombie and Fitch and I bought this cute summer
top.................
Front
Back
My last purchase was this cute watch......Gotta love it's size and I loved the tortoise shell effect.
Then I was off to the spa......WHOOOO HOOOO!!!
Sorry no pictures .........
We ended our day at Spring Rolls Restaurant....
I had spicy Thai pad........and green tea.
What a lovely day to spend with the girls and celebrate
my baby's 40th birthday!!
Thanks for visiting!!
Linda
Oh what a fun day you had! That shopping center looked very nice. I wonder why they didn't want you to take pics in the Williams Sonoma store? That's strange. They have an online store and a catalog. I don't see anything wrong with it. Those types of requests make me mad. Love the items you bought! The white top is my fave. You can wear all of your items together for one great outfit! Glad you had fun.
ReplyDeleteLooked like a nice time you had. I love Williams Sonoma and am surprised that frowned upon photos. Lovely finds you have also! Glad you had a great time!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like a fun day shopping in TO. I haven't been to the old Eaton Center in years, or even down into the city. I love the pretty top you bought. I saw a Williams Sonoma in the Portland Mall on the weekend but I was too tired to walk back to see it once it opened. Pretty sad eh? I didn't even buy any clothes. Have great week! Pam
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you bought some awesome goodies! I will have to remember the lemons and sunflowers as well. That is such a cute idea!
ReplyDeleteFun times! After I retired I worked PT at Williams-Sonoma for about a year. I LOVED everything in the store but didn't /need/ anything. :)

Even when I was working as a decorator, some stores wouldn't let me take pics to show my clients. It's ridiculous. Younger clients didn't want to go to the store. They wanted me to send them a pic and they'd say buy it or not. Simple and quick. Glad you had a fab weekend!
ReplyDeleteSounds like the perfect day. Love, love, love Williams-Sonoma! Just for the inspiration (because it's a bit pricey for this thrifting girl). I remember taking my daughter to the big city for her 16th birthday - her 40th is in a few years, I might repeat the day.
ReplyDeleteLinda,
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a grand time. Love that bag btw~too cute!
Hey Linda, I love Zara. I'll have to get to Toronto this year. Apparently we have a cheap bus on Wednesdays so I might do that one day. J
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a wonderful day! It looks like you found some great goodies too.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a wonderful trip and got some good shopping in....godd for you!
