Thrifty Treasures

We were out  about today looking for any thing that was thrifty and a great find.
We took our 49 ford p/u and our friends were in their 50ford p/u.   There is a small town just just north east of Toronto. Orono and its filled with cute antique and flea market shops.  (sorry forgot my camera.)
One of the buildings was an old Armoury filled with antique finds. The building  housed 6900 sq feet. of furniture, glass, rugs etc.
The others  housed different vendors, and these shops were a little more thrifty.
So here are my finds.
A Myott dinner plate (Mail Delivery)  I paid $8.00.  Brown and White transferware another to add to my collection.
A  silver plated Champagne Bucket in geat condition, needed some elbow grease was very tarnished here is the before and after.
$12.50.
My dh picked up a collectors truck 48 ford p/u for $19.00.
Another great and fruitful day!!
