French Country Sale Bloomfield,Ont.
Today there was a sale in Bloomfield. It is about 3 hours east of us on the Bay of Quinte.
So off we went in our daily driver(rain in the forcast) at 8:am .
This French Country Sale actually started yesterday.
There was so much to see, I can't imagine what we missed.
There were many chairs (that I could buy) but didn't.
I picked up the cutest birdhouse( I collect them) and put it down for just a second and turned to look at this vase when it was gone. The vase is from England (Crown Devon.) Not a mark on it $8.00
, and this blue and white plate from Japan, 50's for $2.00. They came home with me. As well a quilted sham for my queensize pillow. Sorry no photo it's already in the wash.
So off we go to another town Carrying Place to the next Antiques mall. There was lots of eye candy and I purchased this cute pudding bowl.
TG Green Co. Ltd. England for $5.00.
We carried on home at this point and ran into some hard rain.
Good thing we did not take our truck(49 ford p/u)
until next time,
