making more pillows.
I had ordered this fabric VINTAGE BLOSSOM
from Fabric.com and what should appear
in the January 2012 issue
of Romantic Homes, but.........Vintage Blossom.
I was delighted.
So I went to work and made these 2 lovelies.
I thought this fabric choice of colour was just right.
It pulls out the blue in the loveseat.
The pillow in the middle is no other than Sutton Place Designs.
This is the cover that I picked from
A Stroll Thru Life's giveaway.
I was to go to Ann's sight and choose a
pillow cover @ 50% off.
I believe I made the right choice.
I haven't shown many pictures of our living room.
Here are a few.
More to come in another post.
Don't go away, I'm on a roll. Made 2 more pillows.
I found this pink checkered fabric
at IKEA. a nice decorating weight.
As well I picked up 6 feather pillow inserts
This pink check brings out the pink in the sofa.
These pillows are made 20 x 20.
While out at Homesense our Canadian store
like your Home Goods,
I purchased these two linen
French beauties 20 x 20 for only
$24.95 EACH.
What a bargain.
They look great with the other pillows on my sofa.
Well I see that my
Romantic Homes and
House and Home
magazines have arrived.
Time for tea and a good read.
Can you have too many pillows?

ReplyDeleteHi Linda, NO you cannot have too many pillows and all of yours looks fabulous! Enjoy your reading and have a wonderful weekend, Gail
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, you are on a roll and they are all fabulous. I love your fabrics and the mix of patterns are wonderful. I am so glad you found one from Ann, she has such pretty ones also. Thanks tons in advance for joining TTT. Hugs, marty
ReplyDeleteI love the way the pillows look on your sofa....and I do not think you can have too many!!! *impossible* ;P
ReplyDeleteYour pillows are beautiful, I love the fabrics. I have never looked at Fabrics.com, I need to, all we have here in Winnipeg is Fabricland and a few fabric stores that are not chains and either the fabrics are really expensive or very outdated. Thanks for the heads up on that.
ReplyDeleteCindy
You can't have too many pillows!!! They all look great, but especially the pink check and the linen sitting next to them!!!
ReplyDeleteYou can NEVER have too many! Yours are lovely! I didn't know you could get fabric at Ikea, I may have to make the 1 hour drive now. Cheers, Andrea
ReplyDeleteOh I am probably the wrong person to ask as I have pillows stashed in closets, ottomans, chests..... :)
ReplyDeleteThe more pillows the better! Have fun moving them around!
ReplyDeleteGreat pillows - I am currently on the hunt for some new ones for my family room - and I'm having a heck of a time deciding. Maybe I should check out Etsy.
ReplyDeleteAwesome pillows and fabrics. My favorite is the blue with bird pattern. Love, love, love them. Have a great week. ~CJ
ReplyDeleteLinda,
ReplyDeleteI would like to feature your pillow from last weeks NTT party, but I am having trouble pasting the pic...if you could e-mail me a pic before I start the party today...I could get it in:)

Wow oh wow, love all your pillows. You lucked out at Homesense, with that store either you can find a great selection of pillows or nothing. Having said that, you can always find something to buy at that store, love it. Lovely post.
ReplyDeleteThe blue fabric is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI have a thing for pillows, I just can't stop making them! LOL
Your look so beautiful!
Okay, okay, you have now officially inspired me to make pillows! Fantastic.
ReplyDeleteI agree about the IKEA inserts. I think they are the best out there and for an incredible price. My only problem is that the nearest IKEA is a 90 minute drive one way. When I go I usually buy several inserts. Thanks for the feature. I'm so happy you like the pillow cover!
ReplyDeleteYou can never have too many! I just wish I could sew...but, it is too late for that now! I really love that first fabric and the pillows, beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThose are some beautiful pillows. You can never have too many pillows. I love the fabric...especially the one with the birds. Thanks for sharing at DIYbyDesign.

Amazing!! Just yesterday I saw Vintage Blossom on Fabric.com and thought it was such a great print! I am even considering it for either drapery or roman shades in my master bedroom. I love how your pillows turned out - the colour of the fabric is just perfect too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
Take care,
Christina
