white wethered hutch Ready for Fall

Cooler temps and kiddies are back in school. Gets me in the mood to pull out the

fall decorations.  But before I could decorate for fall off comes my red dishes and some rearranging...

A new sign.... I noticed that these signs are a little pricey sooooooo...... To my Hubbys work shop

I go. Find a piece of pine 3/4" by 3" . Cut it to size 17".  Ok now it becomes a little tricky.

I like my edges clean so call on the mister to use his router and bit .

Next came the painting.  First I went with green and white mix and dark green lettering.

No that didn't work, so I sanded it off and proceeded to paint it orange.  Why not a fall colour right!!

Once that was dry I gave it a light sanding then stenciled on my letters in burnt umber.

Then I sanded again to give it more of a distressed look.  Ta Da my Autumn sign was born.

Add some berry garland, faux sunflowers, dried hydrangeas, to the mix.

A few small pumpkins , a berry wreathe and there is my White Weathered Hutch all ready for fall.

Now to hang my fall wreathe on the front door... decorate the front of the house with some.....

Just to keep you hanging on.............. That will be in phase 2 of my fall decorating.

Thanks for dropping by, I love all your comments. Be sure to leave some

 Have a great weekend!!!
