Do you sit in front of the TV, watching a show or......
I can't... My hands need to be kept busy.
Doing this, crocheting....
Just finished this throw.
Measures 50" x 60 " Just a cute size to cover you up on those cold and windy nights that
are coming soon... UGH!!!!
or this knitting.......
Had this much leftover from the throw so I started knitting a cowl.
That will end up looking like this.
So do you keep your hands busy while watching TV????
Thanks for stopping by.

My hands are always busy when I "listen" to TV. I usually have to concentrate on my handwork so I look up at the TV if the dialogue stops, just to get what's happeniing. It's a great way to get a lot of work done. I do a lot of applique and knitting in front of the TV.
ReplyDeleteThe throw is really beautiful and the cowl will be perfect for winter. I don't do any handwork. However. I work at the computer doing blogs, editing pictures, checking Facebook etc. while I watch tv. Mind you I sometimes miss the gist of a certain story line in a program because I am listening more than watching. lol If it's evening and I just sit down to watch tv I will fall asleep. Oh, I also look at magazines while I watch tv but usually during the ads. ;) I like the crocks next to your fireplace!
ReplyDeleteOh my!!! I WISH I could crochet! I'm thinking of learning. Right now I am learning to sew. I spend my time in front of the TV blogging and catching up on email. I am so glad I found you and am now a follower. Love all of your tutorials too!
ReplyDeleteI don't watch a lot of TV, but sometimes when I am quilting I will put on a movie. I have a TV/DVD player in my sewing area. So it kind of keeps me company :-)
ReplyDeleteI never just sat and watched tv. Usually, I did cross stitch, painted or sewed. It's just background noise to me. Look at the wonderful things you make because you don't really watch it! ~ Maureen
ReplyDeleteYou really do keep your hands busy while you watch TV. I love the throw and cowl. Perfect for this weather.
ReplyDeleteI can't crochet or knit. You are very talented in both. I've always wanted to make afghans and scarves with either method. :/

I love sitting on the couch with my Honey while he watches TV and I crochet. I haven't made a blanket since about 2 years ago...for grandbabies. I should find a pattern I like and work on it in the evenings.
ReplyDeleteI love to crochet while listening to the baseball game... World Series is coming up... I could quite possibly get blanket made!
