Definition
A quilt is a type of bed cover, traditionally composed of 3 layers of fiber: a woven cloth top, a layer of batting or wadding and a woven back, combined using the technique of quilting. A quilt is distinguishable from other types of blankets because it is pieced together with several pieces of cloth. “Quilting” refers to the technique of joining at least two fabric layers by stitches or ties.
I would love to share all my quilts with you.
I have made so many.... more to follow at another post.
I would love to hear from you, please leave a comment!

All your quilts are so beautiful! I admire people who quilt. Most f my sewing projects are small projects. I get so frustrated when it takes such a long time to put things together ie: quilts.
ReplyDeleteYou have done beautiful work. Your quilts are pieces of art.
I so enjoyed seeing your quilts. I think my very favorite is the bright colorful one!
ReplyDeleteLinda, these are just beautiful! I love the bright quilt and the red and beige quilt. Those are my favorites while they are all amazing! Oh...I love the pumpkins too! I really enjoyed this post! You are so talented!
ReplyDeleteKaren
Love your quilts Linda. Through the years my style and tastes have changed, but I still love all of my quilts :-)
ReplyDeleteOh my you have so many beautiful quilts! I love them all! I have a few quilts passed on to me from my grandmother's. They are beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Lisa
Such a talent, Linda. And so much patience!! The only quilt I've ever made was a double bed sized log cabin quilt I made for my daughter - it came out of one of those 48 hour workshops where you learned how to make a quilt and finish it at home. She had that quilt right through high school, university and into her mid-20s before it finally fell apart - I know they should last a lifetime. Not with my poor sewing skills!
ReplyDeleteI love...love...love your quilts! What a great collection.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing.
Smiles,
Carolynn
my favorite is the 5th one down, the reds, creams and off-white spoke to my heart.

Have a great week.
Gorgeous, I love the log cabin one but they are all gorgeous. You are so talented!

Your quilts are just gorgeous Linda. I think quilting is a beautiful craft that takes a lot of patience and some math skills, both of which I lack. :)
