Keep telling myself .....a little pain ....no gain.................
Funny I thought that I was a flexible kind of gal...........

Hi Linda,
ReplyDeleteIt will get easier with time and then you will feel amazing! Hang in there...
All the Best,
Christine
I know exactly how you are feeling! I need to get back into doing Yoga again.
ReplyDeleteNeed to go to Yoga...lots of "pain" in the beginning..but the results are worth it!!
ReplyDeleteI love yoga!! I haven't done it in a while, but love how great it makes me feel afterwards. My doctor told me it would be great to keep the tightness of arthritis from setting in if I do it regularly. Problem is, I don't always do it until I feel the need to do it. You will get more flexible the more you do it. Stretching is so good for you and that's really what yoga is. The other good thing is the "being in touch with your body" sense it gives you. That's the mental part of yoga. Stick with it. You'll get there.
ReplyDeleteYoga looks like an easy exercise programme. Until you actually try it! LOL
ReplyDeleteWednesday is my yoga day. But with the weather today, I think I'll have to do it here in the basement. With a bad back, yoga can sometimes feel like more pain than gain, but at the end of the class I'm feeling limber and can move more easily.
ReplyDeleteStick with it, you'll love it (eventually).
Namaste on this snowy day.
Good for you Linda. This is something I want to start. On my list!!
ReplyDeleteI hear you on the sore wrists! And the hips, and knees...Oh well, Zumba is a lot more fun and less painful! lol Well, sometimes.
ReplyDeleteDebbie :)
I know exactly how you feel, I started doing yoga two days ago, I just tought that I don't want to be a crippled old lady and stay flexible and in shape (like those old chinese people that you see on TV) and I'm hurting bad, but I will keep doing it no matter what. So we'll see how we feel in a week or two.
