Sew Darn Cute!!
Welcome!!
Well I had this bit of yarn leftover.......
Could not let it go to waste...........
Sew........I ............made these cute slippers.......
I must have made millions of these many
years ago............many years ago........
Sew I picked up my leftover yarn and ......
my 5mm crochet hook and started.......
Oh yes it's all coming back to me......
start with a chain....then make a circle........
then single crochet in the circle................
continue................
when I was done.............
I couldn't stop there...............
Needed to embellish them.............
crocheted a cute flower...........
yes now I remember.............
added a button to the flower...........
Now aren't they the cutest slippers.....
great to take out in your purse..........
just in case you have somewhere to go........
keeps those tootsies warm...............
Made them in an hour...............
Did I say how easy they are to make................
What are you making today?????
As always thanks for stopping by.
Linda

I used to make slippers like these all of the time. My mother made me my first pair. Your's turned out great and I love the color. Enjoy your day.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! They do look warm. You're so talented to be able to sit down and whip those up in just an hour. I remember crocheting in highschool, but all I ever learned to do was a straight line. LOL!
ReplyDeleteOh they are completely adorable! I can't believe you made them in just an hour. Well done.
ReplyDeleteThose slippers are super cute! Cannot believe you whipped them up in one hour!
ReplyDeleteYou will ll never guess what I started last weekend.....a crocheted afghan! I had forgotten how relaxing it is. You were my inspiration for picking up my crochet hooks again. Your slippers are adorable and I'm glad that you're feeling better. Enjoy your evening, Gail
ReplyDeleteHi Linda,
ReplyDeleteLove these slippers! My Mother always had a pair in her purse! Made out of Phentex!
Now there is a brand name from the past! The houses used to be a lot colder back then.
The little button flower is so sweet. Great leftovers, the colour combination is perfect!
All the Best,
Christine

Yes, they really are quite cute. I haven't crocheted in years, but never crocheted slippers either.

ReplyDeleteThese are darling! Any chance you could put up a tutorial? I crochet, but am not to a point that I can just whip something up like that. Have a great day!
