Ouch!! Ouch!! Ouch!!

EWWWWW!! Oh my goodness!!! This is how I feel !!!

Now who thought that at my age Yoga would be good............

Now picture this middle aged women....on the floor......

sitting on her legs....Ow!! Big Ow!! one leg won't co-operate.......

This is not going to work............

Next put your hands in front of you and do the down...something down.......

My hands are to be flat on the floor......ok ...one hand is in position ....

now put the other hand down.....OW!! BIG OW!!! My right hand is the one that had the wrist

broken 2 years ago............Not co-operating.........In pain ....but persevere.

Keep telling myself .....a little pain ....no gain.................

Funny I thought that I was a flexible kind of gal...........

Who am I kidding......

But don't give up I tell myself................Get back at it tomorrow.....A new day........

  4. I love yoga!! I haven't done it in a while, but love how great it makes me feel afterwards. My doctor told me it would be great to keep the tightness of arthritis from setting in if I do it regularly. Problem is, I don't always do it until I feel the need to do it. You will get more flexible the more you do it. Stretching is so good for you and that's really what yoga is. The other good thing is the "being in touch with your body" sense it gives you. That's the mental part of yoga. Stick with it. You'll get there.

  6. Wednesday is my yoga day. But with the weather today, I think I'll have to do it here in the basement. With a bad back, yoga can sometimes feel like more pain than gain, but at the end of the class I'm feeling limber and can move more easily.

Stick with it, you'll love it (eventually).

    Namaste on this snowy day.

  9. I know exactly how you feel, I started doing yoga two days ago, I just tought that I don't want to be a crippled old lady and stay flexible and in shape (like those old chinese people that you see on TV) and I'm hurting bad, but I will keep doing it no matter what. So we'll see how we feel in a week or two.
