Dolls !! Dolls !! Dolls!! THE REVEAL!!

                                    MEET            URSALA

Remember when these dolls came to me...........

The first stage...the face.......

The face was painted with oil pastels and I also  used
Prisma colour pencils.
I then set them with a hot iron.

Ursala is all ready for her winter festivities.

She's ready for the slopes or the ski chalet.......

I crocheted her outfit  in a cream worsted wool...........

The vest is off white fur.......

The Mukluks and Muff are also fur.

Her cowl scarf/head are also crocheted,  in a verigated worsted wool.

Now her flaming red hair says it all.......

This was so much fun bringing Ursala to life.

                             Ursala stands 14"

Thanks Maddy for sending these wonderful dolls to me.

I love creating life into objects.

I hope you enjoyed seeing Ursala  and the process that
was involved in creating such a beautiful doll.

                             As always thanks for visiting!
I'd  love to hear from you!

                                          Linda

  1. Linda, Ursala turned out quite lovely. She is utterly fantastic!
I love the way you colored her face and her red hair is absolute perfection.
You made the right choice in her outfit too. It is so Ursala isn't it? You did such a fabulous job I can't wait until you have the next one completed. I'm so glad you offered to take some of the orphans. Have fun creating.
