EASTER TABLESCAPE

                                WHO'S READY FOR EASTER?

What's on your Menu??

Thought I would post my table from last Easter.

If I'm like the rest of you this week is busy.......

Shopping ..........finishing up crafts.......

Outside decorating.......??????

Making desserts..............

This is for all you Newbies out there....

as well as my loyal followers.....

First I started with this cute rabbit.

                        Added a pretty forsythia wreath

and a clay bowl.    Some raffia.
                              Thus created my centerpiece

I had seen these turquoise basket weave placemats
at the Superstore and I knew these would
be just right for my table setting.

I used my white dishes for this setting.
A dinner plate, a bowl and a coffee mug.

I love the use of coloured raffia
and this green seemed to stand out.
I filled the cups with pink tissue
and added the grass (raffia) to the top.

I topped them off with some Easter eggs.
A little natural raffia to hold the cutlery
and a bed of  green moss
off to the side that housed some more little eggs.

I hope you have as much fun putting together your
Easter Tablescape

                           Thanks for visiting!

                                   Linda

  1. Such a cute table setting! I think it's very "Springy" and "Eastery". Looks like you're all set. It doesn't feel like Easter here this week. We've had very cold temps with snow flurries. That is unheard of here in the south during Easter! What's up?!

  2. What pretty ideas!
We're going out for Easter dinner, and for Easter brunch, so our decorations will mostly be in the living room and on the veranda.

  10. So sweet Linda. I love seeing what people do for Easter. I never really get that committed to Easter decorating but I love surfing the blog world and admiring.

  11. Love it, Linda. The bunny in the bowl is such a great idea!!! I'm sitting here looking at a huge shallow bowl I just painted in Old White and am thinking it might be the perfect foundation for my own Easter centerpiece. Now where is that bunny?
