Welcome Friends!!
Whooo Hoooo!!! Another one under my belt......
These hands have just been motoring...........
I call this one CITRUS............Granny squares for all the newbies!
Such an easy...peasy...project.......Don't you just love it!!!
I used Red Heard Yarn...Soft Touch.....So lovely to work with..
Remember when I purchased these spring colours......
Well I added to it and this it what I created.....
A lap Afghan............48" x 60"................
The colours are so fresh...........
Each block is 8 1/2" and it's last 2 rounds are white.
Once I joined all the squares I crocheted 3 more rows of white
for the border............
Just enough warmth for a cool summers night on the porch.
Now with the leftover yarn I have a few ideas running through this
blonde brain........can you guess........I bet you can't.........
I would be happy to share my pattern with you.
Have a wonderful day!!!
Thanks for Visiting!
Linda
You are fast! I'm still working on mine!! I need to get busy on it because my grandson keeps asking me if I'm done with afghan. And to top it all off, my other two are asking if I've started making their afghan. Yours is beautiful and I love the colors! Enjoy your day, Gail
ReplyDeleteLinda,
ReplyDeleteThat is just gorgeous! Lovely color combination. I absolutely love to cuddle up on the couch with a soft afghan. Of course, I don't know how to make them but I sure enjoy them just the same.
It turned out very pretty Linda! I love the citrus colours. You work fast. Have a great day. Pamela

ReplyDeleteYes please! I love the colours you've used. I think this would be a great project to take along on travels.
ReplyDeleteI have such fond memories of the various ones that my mother made. I just wish I was able to make one myself.
ReplyDeleteMy heart skipped a beat...as my mother used to make them all the time....she still crochets and knits a bit, not much anymore...The afghan is so beautiful and the colors are just perfect for the Spring....fantastic job Linda!!! Have a great weekend!
