Decorating the Front Walkway for Christmas

                                       December the 1st......

Time to pull out all the decorations ........

Well mine have been pulled out for some time.......

So now to reveal......

                                   Front Walkway!!

Christmas past 2012

Most of my decorations come from along
the roadside but this year is different...

We pulled on our boots, hats, gloves and coats and went into

                     the bush......

Collected enough greenery to decorate the urn by the front door , the front bench, the garden urn and the hanger between the garage doors.

Last years bench  2012...Oh how I love to come up with different ideas!!

Front Bench 2013.........

This years theme
Looking through my windows!
The two windows or sashes were picked
up while antiquing this summer.
Wasn't sure on how I was going to use them
inside so I incorporated them into this years
Bench Theme...

Added some stars, greenery,
some ski poles, a bucket with greenery,
red dogwood branches and a candle.
One large red BOW!!

Here's a closer look...

                                       Next came the front urn....

Not many changes there....

New to 2013 my garden urn..

Here I added the sleigh from the previous bench
with the gift and added greenery,
an old lantern , a burlap stocking,
and outdoor candle and a burlap bow.

Also new to 2013

Our barn converted to a garage
with one large wreath and bow!!

Lastly the planter on the garage!

With the help of pickmonkey and the snow falling , I glance out
my window and it's a winter wonderland......Snowing!!

What better way to bring in December!!

As always thanks for stopping by!
                                       Love hearing from you!

  7. Looks great, Linda. We did the same thing yesterday but didn't finish. I still have to do my front urns - that's on the agenda for today. Along with digging out all the decorations from the basement storage.
