A Little Impatient...
I love real flowers just like the rest of you........
But when the season doesn't permit......
Because the ground is covered in snow and ice......
I did the next best....purchased my daffodil bulbs and tulip bulbs.....
placed them in the fridge (in a spare fridge) for 4 weeks.......
just to fool them ........
Purchased my soil and some moss........
planted them......
placed them on a sunny ledge.........
Hope that they will soon bloom............
wonder if spring will beat them to it........and the snow will melt and the tulips will
show themselves and the daffodils...............
But in the meantime I will watch and wait........
I hope they will bloom for you and give you the color of Spring that you're hoping for soon! When I went shopping yesterday, I almost bought some fresh flowers. I feel the same way that the rest of us do this time of year. Everything is so blah and I can't wait for Spring flowers to start blooming.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I love your header! So pretty. I'm sure they will come in time, Linda. I've thought of doing that before but didn't get around to it. I like your planters too. It's a beautiful sunny but cold day here. I almost need sunglasses just to look out the window. :)
