2 Sisters Country Sale

                                    2 Sisters Country Sale!

We put ads in the local papers, had signs made up to show people where the
sale was.....

Advertised in Kijiji......

Word of mouth.....and Facebook.........

Well the day came or should I say days....

Leading up to the sale we spent days collecting our items then
2 days just listing and pricing our items.

Set up three tents for our booths and many tables to display our items.

Yes the sale was in the country!!  Set up amongst the trees and the grass the
fields of hay ...the sun was shining.....we had beautiful weather......

This was our first 2 Sisters Sale in the Country so we set out to sell just about
everything for everyone`s taste...

Antiques, collectibles, new and old, furniture, linens..Art......

Our sale was on a Friday and a Saturday from 9 to 2....

Let`s take a tour..

Our cash out tables...

Well we are so ready let the sale begin!

And that it did ..got too busy taking sales that I didn`t get any more pictures
of the crowds....

It`s funny though how an ad reads...
Country Sale!

Yet even though we had the odd patrons looking for yard sale items
we gladly directed them to the back of the tent to a tarp loaded with $ sale items.

You can please some of the people some of the time but not all the people all the time!

Yes I would say our Country Sale was a success!

Will I do it again.......yes.......but...there is always a but.....

Next one will be held at the other sisters!

Have you held Country or yard ....garage sales

                                                       Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Looks like you had lots of great things for sale. I have had a few garage sales and I hope to have one soon as I have been decluttering lately.

  2. It is lots of works getting up a yard sale, and you certainly spent lots of time organizing and setting up. Hope it was successful. We had one a few years ago but I'm not sure if I'm ready to have another one.

  3. I'm so glad that your sale was a success. i know that had to be a lot of work to get set up. I stopped having garage sales years ago because of the people that came to them wanting something for nothing. So......I take my good things to a consignment store and all others are donated to Goodwill.
