Wrought Iron

Hello friends!

Wow how's everyone beating this heat. Keeping cool by the pools or lakes or maybe just
chilling inside. The air conditioners are going full time.
We are in for another blistering day.

I wanted to share with you this cute bench that I picked up.

It's not new, needs some TLC but I couldn't resist. You know Love at first sight.

It's beginning to show some wear so I'll give it a good run over with a wire brush then
a flat black spray should do the trick.

It's just the right size for our new sun room.

It needs a seat cushion and some pillows don't you think!

Something black and cream with some graphics and maybe a stripe in black and
cream for the pillows.

So I'm off to Ikea to see what they might have in the way of fabric.

What's going on in your corner of the world?

  1. Sweet bench find Linda! Some pretty fabric cushions will spiff it right up. Another cloudy day here and still coolish. What a lousy summer we've had! Oh well. Maybe August will see some improvement. At least we'll get to enjoy some heat when we go to Hamilton this weekend for a wedding. I hear it's very humid in your parts. Keep cool.

  4. The perfect addition to the sunroom. Can't wait to see what you come up with for pillows. And by the way, I love the sewing table/bar you have on the left wall.
