From beautiful fall colours to no colour at all in
just a couple of days....
More rain came and the days are much cooler...
The fireplace stays on day and night.....
It's another overcast day here
in Eastern Ontario....
Raking and mulching the leaves.......
Cleaning windows......
all outside furniture put away for another
season.....
Taking advantage of one warmer day
to hang the Christmas lights.......
One lonely apple hanging by a thread......
The barn shed is prepared for the
49 Ford Pick up and the 49 Meteor
to be put away for another
season.......
Leftover Pumpkins lay in the garden to rot ........
Before we know it the sn**w comes...
and it did last Saturday.....
We woke to this......
Thank goodness it didn't stay.....
Not ready for this yet....
Are you?????
Thanks for coming by! Love hearing from you!
Linda
On friday our trees were still full of color...then the strong winds came in over night and we woke to bare trees!! Winter is on it's way! Have a great week Linda!
ReplyDeleteOh WOW ! You got snow none for us down here yet , The winds are cool but the air it's self is mild today rain for us later to ! Thanks for sharing , Have a good day !
ReplyDeleteI am not ready for snow yet. The trees are just about bare here and today I move Jack O;Garden to the composter as he was just a little mushy. We got all the garden furniture put away and hubby moved the snowblower up to the front of the garage so he can be prepared. I figure if you aren't prepared it will happen, so hopefully being ready for snow will mean it won't come for several more weeks. Guess I'm a dreamer :)
ReplyDeleteNot even close to ready. Our boat is still in the water. It must not freeze! Lovely photos of your neck of the woods.. seemingly not too far from my neck of the woods.
ReplyDeleteWow...snow already?...Well come to think of it...we had snow in the NC mountains....It must be a bit sad to put the truck away for the winter...I love that truck!!...Have a great day!...
ReplyDeleteLuckily we haven't had snow YET! But the leaves are gone and the grey days of November are upon us. Still working on clearing out the gardens and getting some things put away in the garage for the winter. A task that is behind because we decided to paint the inside of the garage before the cold set in.
