ROSES ARE RED, .... AND A GIVEAWAY!

RED , RED, AND MORE RED HEARTS

Down to the sewing studio and pull out my fabric.

Red felted wool for a heart, and white for a pillow cover.
First I went about making a pillow insert.
      Cut two pieces of lining 12 1/2 x 12 1/2 inches.
Sewed all around the edge  1/4  inch and left an
opening to stuff with poly stuffing.

Then I cut out 12 1/2 x 12 1/2 inch front and back of pillow

Went to the copier and copied the french saying
           from Debbie   onto transfer paper.
Cut out the saying and applied it to the front
of the pillow  cover as per instructions on the t shirt transfer.
Then proceeded to cut out a star from my felted wool.

I punched a hole in the top and added some jute
      to make a bow.

I appliqued on the red heart
All that's left is to attach front and back
and leave an  opening to insert the pillow.
                Done.... 12 x 12 inch
                                               VALENTINE PILLOW

Well since I was on a role, I made some hearts and stuffed them as well.

They are already to hang since I added some jute to the top.
I left the edges raw to give them a vintage look.
