tulips from my garden

Tulips from my garden...
Today it is freezing.... cold......
The temp outside is 35 degrees.  So I did not want my poor tulips to freeze.
So I cut them  and in they went in this white jug.

Here they are an hour later. They have opened up as if to say thanks.
The variegated ones in purple and a lilac shade are so different.

The bright yellow is so vibrant.

These tulips were in the gardens when we purchased this house 2 years ago.
We did some landscaping last summer and thought we had dug them all
up.  Glad we left a few.
                                           Have a great day!

  2. Our poor garden flowers have a lot to endure this year. Your's look very happy and pretty in their comfy pitcher! ~ Maureen

  3. Your tulips look so pretty! They are my favorite flowers. I probably should have done the same thing with our tulips...the temperature reads 27 degrees this morning! Everthing blooming is probably dead now.
