Thrifty finds....Urns,urns, urns....

Urns there are black ones, white ones, chippy ones.
Cast iron, cement ones.

Well I chose a white......
Cement one.

They range in price from $79.00 and up..

Well  I paid... drumroll please...
a Whopping $15.00

Now that's a Thrifty Find

So I brought it home and placed it on my back porch with my
french bistro set .
Now what would I insert in this beauty.
Flowers?   Nope ...
A boxwood wood look great don't you think.
 Nope...

I went with a Spirea @ $18.00
I could shape this cutie into a topiary, but I decided to
wait and see what inspired.
This spirea is a dwarf.  Spirea Nippnica Silver.
Well this is not silver.
The cute flowers came out in pink.
I love it.

I know come fall I will need to transplant it in the garden.
But for now it looks so beautiful on my porch.

Have a great week.
Linda

  1. Great urn at an incredible price! I've had a small Burning Bush in a planter for two years. It's a great way to fill a large planter and have something that can go out in the yard when it gets too large. ~ Maureen
