Antiquing in Colborne

Tell me....  Do you ever get tired of antiquing?????

Not me!    No way!   No How!  Notta!!

While out touring again in the 49 p/u we stumbled across this antique barn.

Right next to the Trans Canada Hwy.   We pulled off  for a coffee break.

Saw the Tim Hortons Sign.....    The truck went into auto pilot and we pulled in.

Well when we were having our coffee I happened to look across the road.

There in BIG BOLD LETTERS  ANTIQUES!

I let out a shriek..... Quick drink your coffee. LOOK!!!!

They all turned at once.

Have you lost your mind?    NO NO LOOK!!

So they finally saw ANTIQUES !

We dropped everything and went on a venture.

We were in new territory.  So luckily I had my camera and took a few pics.

Love Toile Trays, but don't collect them .

OMG!! I didn't notice those ironstone cups and saucers, but took the picture of the table.

As well look at the mirror on the floor behind the table.

Note to self ..... Look at it all.... then look again..........

                                 Now I
have saved the best for last...

silver spoons..  Can you guess what I am going to use
these for?

Thanks for stopping by. I always enjoy your comments.

  4. Even thought we don't shop as often as we have in the past, we have not outgrown our fascination with vintage and antiques.

You found some absolutely wonderful things!

  7. No way, who say that we TScapers are tired of antiquing?

I am loving you finds, Linda. How I wish I could find such pretty vintage here in the city of Stockholm.

    Happy Monday.

  10. Hahaha! Linda, you sound like my mom when we used to be out thrifting and antiquing! You didn't want her behind the wheel if she saw something; turn first and look out for other cars after! Whew . . . needless to say, I took over the driving and she watched for signs.lol I really miss those fun Saturday mornings! Thanks for the memories.
You really scored on that sale; my faves are the shell front shelves! I'm a new follower and found you at Metamorphosis Monday! Hope you'll find the time to share your finds over at Frugal Treasures Tuesday!
