Last minute crafts......Couldn't resist.....
Snowflake pillow..........
Small felt stockings.......
Ok .........I know.........Time to hang up those scissors...turn off machine.....
Put away the glue...........but........but.......
While I was cutting out these cute snowflakes...... hung a few...here in the great room...
I looked at the pattern.......great stencil right there in front of me...........
So............
Out came my fabric burlap and I started stencilling ..............
At this time I wasn't sure what size of pillow I was making ....
I just knew that I had to................make a .........pillow.
While the paint was drying..... I made my pillow form.....10"x18" and proceeded to stuff it with poly..
Then I took some scraps of dropcloth for the back of my pillow and finished off an envelope..
opening...then added a bit of ribbon to tie the two together....
Added the burlap to the dropcloth and there you have it a cute Snowflake pillow....
Can't stop there........
Saw these cute stockings on Martha Stewart sight and.................
Yes I just had to make a few..........Of course mine are felt and smaller.........But too cute..
Hang them from the chairs or place them beside the plates for cutlery......
I might even put in some lottery tickets for a surprise.....
That's not all ......must make a Pom Pom wreathe or pillow......so...........
here are a few already to shape................
Can you see a pattern here...........HELP!!!!!!!.........CRAFT OVERLOAD
some pieces of wood to make into????????????
And last but not least a dollhouse that I have been working on forever..............
How about you???? Still Crafting...............
Have a great weekend!!

ReplyDeleteNope! I'm done. I don't craft anyway :) But I'm done shopping etc. Just relaxing now. I love the pillow and stockings. Really cute ideas! Have a wonderful Christmas, Linda. Blessings, Pamela
ReplyDeleteYour felt stocking reminds me of the one hanging in our kitchen! Mine is very small and vintage. I'd thought about making more but, no, I'm out of time for this year! I'm thinking a snow pillow would be good throughout winter! Such smart ideas. Thanks for sharing them with us at the Country Whites Weekend. Hope you'll join us again next month!
