Somewhere............ Someone...... ............lost in time.........
Has received a lost letter................
One so dear ....To A Sweetheart..............
To my dearest Sweetheart...............
It's envelope all tattered and worn.......
The letter was so brittle it fell apart at the touch...............
Where are you tonight ........my sweet one......
.
Oh I long to be with you...........hold you in my arms...........
The letter was dated February 1941..................
It was lost in time...........only to be forgotten .
..until.........
.
It arrived......
She opened it up and dear memories of lost times rolled down her
cheeks ...
Oh how I miss you.........
I thought you had forgotten..............
Memories................
A Valentines Tribute to all of those who loved and lost...............
As always thanks for stopping by
Linda

ReplyDeleteA true Valentine, Linda. Lovely sentiments and lovely pictures.
ReplyDeleteDid you really find a letter dated 1941??? Wow! That's really something. I think love letters are now becoming a thing of the past with all of the technology of today. Sad! I remember writing letters to my husband (before we were married) and now wishing I still had them.
ReplyDeleteGreat story, Linda...
