Even though it's the first day of Spring Old Man winter is
beating on our door.........More heavy snow.
I have decorated the great room to welcome Spring!!
A vase full of Forsythias......
Dreaming of flowers and sheds and .............
A ball of daisies of every colour........
A corner vignette .... An antique cheese box holding nest and eggs.
All this snow and cold is not going to stop Spring for me.
We are keeping the home fires burning!!
How was your first day of Spring!!
Still snowing in your area?????
Thanks for Visiting!
Please leave me a comment so that I know you dropped by.

I have to say that fireplace looks cozy. Lovely spring bouquet even though it is snowing your area. Spring is on its way, hopefully.
ReplyDeleteI like the forsythia and the fire in the wood stove, Linda. We need both of them right now don't we - a little bit of winter and a little bit of spring. :) We are all looking forward to some nicer spring days. Hugs, Pam
ReplyDeleteIt snowed a bit today, but it didn't stick. We're on our last bit of wood for the stove, so it had better warm up soon. Your forsythia looks so pretty!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely vignette with the eggs and the rustic wood. It looks so cozy Linda.

All so very pretty to ! You have a lovely home ! My Forsythia bush in the garden has buds on it ! I know this snow just does not want to go away ! Snow squalls all day and cold winds but the sun did pop out every now and then to . But still I see signs of spring here and there in my gardens and that is promising ! Have a good evening !
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! Love your heater! So cozy looking!
ReplyDeleteWell the sun is actually shining this morning, my forced forsythia branches are in bloom and I can see the grass through patches of melted snow.....spring is on it's way, no matter how slowly.
ReplyDeleteI love your pretty vignettes, everything looks so pretty. The forsythia is stunning, one of my favorites and I love the box of eggs. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteBeautiful vignette. I wish spring would popover to NJ now!!

The way you group things together looks just perfect. I am still waiting for my forsythia bush to spring into life. Everything is so late here this year. I am getting snow, rain, wind, sun. My weather is very confused at the moment. Take care. Chel
ReplyDeleteHi Linda..we are into the snow as well. To think a year ago we were thinking of grass cutting. It is going to e a very late spring if this keeps up. Love your hints of spring in your home. Enjoy.

Seeing forsythia in bloom is so welcome since it's one of the first signs of spring! Your spring touches look so pretty. Loving the old cheese box full of eggs.

It is so nice to see such pretty colours when Mother Nature is taking her time changing seasons. So lovely.
ReplyDeleteDebbie :)
1. I never knew what forsythia looked like.
ReplyDelete2. Oh, I would LOVE to have a little shed in my little garden.
3. Daisies - any time, anywhere . . . I carried them at my wedding
4. Antique cheese box - there must be one in my parent's garage
5 The green chair, oh yes!
Can you tell I like your vignette?
Such pretty Easter decor! I also love your crocks by the fireplace. I'm your newest follower {and fellow Canadian!} You should join my new linky party on Mondays {1 party, 5 blogs!} http://www.somuchbetterwithage.com/2013/03/give-me-goods-party-1.html
