Busy Bee!!!!

Every thought it would be nice just to sit and relax.....

Heck no!! Not me!!

Last night I just had to make this cute baby beanie with this adorable flower.........

Why you ask.....Because I like to keep my hands busy and I had this leftover baby yarn

from this baby blanket so....... in a matter of a few hours I completed this cute hat flower and all.

I made size 3 - 6 months. I have a grand niece on the way in October and thought if she

is any where near the size of my grands she will need a 3 months size to come home in.

It's all done in hdc crochet.

I'm sure you could make one for yourself by just changing the

yarn to worsted and working with a larger crochet hook. Maybe adding on a few more stitches...

Now for all you non crocheters a hdc is a half double crochet stitch.

Now we have a cute baby beanie

to go with this cute blanket.

This gives me another idea......a cute layette set......crochet a pair of booties and a sweater....

Hmmm maybe not.....Never was good at sweaters and booties...

Never the less I'm sure the recipient will love this ...

                                         Thanks for visiting!

  1. I have no idea how to crochet. That looks awesome though. That flower is super cute. How long did it take you to make the hat?

  8. Really cute! Wish I could do that but crocheting is not my thing - I can only admire what others do.
