On The Menu Kale Quiche

On tonight's menu we are having Kale Quiche.

This is a light and easy recipe:

 preheat oven to 350 degrees

5 large eggs
3/4 cup milk ( I use almond milk )
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup of parmesan  cheese

Whisk eggs and add in milk, salt and pepper and parmesan cheese.
Then add in your homemade Kale pesto , about half a cup.

You can find the recipe for the kale pesto here

pie dough... eg.  frozen pie shell,
make your own or do like I did and use light pastry puffs.
Lightly grease your pie plate ( I use butter)
place dough in your pie plate .

Now pour the ingredients into your pie crust and into a preheated oven for 35 minutes.

Take it out of the oven and let it cool a little.
I love to have kale quiche with some homemade cranberry sauce and a side tossed salad.

Can I dish you out a plate???

I hope you try this recipe... Kale is so good for you.

                    Thanks for visiting!

  1. I'm always looking for ways to use kale and I have this pinned! Thanks.

  2. Yummy and nutritious!! Looks good, LInda. And I'm loving your new feature of "coming up this week". I wish I could plan ahead that well - I write on the run most of the time.

  3. This sounds so healthy! It reminds me of a potato soup and kale soup recipe I haven't cooked in years!

  4. Oh I never thought of this...great idea and yes it is so good for you. I am always thinking of ways to work in kale. Thanks Linda.
