                                         Hello Everyone!

I'm embracing these long winter months ahead with catching up on my crochet projects.
I picked up this large ball of Bernat Handicrafter cotton at Walmart the other day and have decided to
crochet a washcloth/dishcloth a day.

Each day will have a different pattern. I'm wondering how many I will make from this jumbo ball.

I started on Sunday and have 3 made.  Today I'm tackling a Tunisian stitch. Some are too pretty
to use as dishcloths so they will become facecloths.

How are you embracing these cold winter months???

Pictures and patterns to come soon!

As always thanks for stopping by!

Keep warm it's minus -31 with the wind chill...........

  1. Sounds like you have been busy ! They sound lovely ! I still take photos in this cold and do a lot of reading as well by the fire ! Thanks for sharing looking forward to seeing your lovely work ! Have a good day !

  2. That's a great way to pass the time on these extremely cold days. I like the cotton dishcloths a lot.

  3. I am finding Wal-Mart pretty pitiful for wool these days...
They don't carry that big fat ball of Bernat softee anymore:o(
    Good luck with your project....
Freezing down here as well....busy cooking!

    Linda :o)

  4. Lordy! How do you STAND that cold temperature??? I've never experienced negative temps like that. When it got down into the single digits, it was unbearable to go outside. I bet you're staying warm inside with all of your crocheting though. What you're making sounds nice. I would probably be making a scarf or throw though! LOL!

  5. I'm spending my indoor time catching up on some administrative work and painting my sideboard plus some other organizing things. I can't wait for the cold temps to snap so that I can get outside a bit - want to cut back a couple bushes (I know, I know).

Jesse still won't let me sit and knit or I would be finishing some projects there too.
