I need your input

Help! I have been through 2 e machines in the last 3 years. The first let me down when it had a bad virus. Paid $100. To have it fixed to find out that they ( repair) removed the driver for my pictures. Ugh! The most important!!!! So I picked up another e machine on sale 2 years ago and now my windows photo gallery is corrupted.
You think I would have learned from the first e machine. We have a main computer but that's hubby's.
We are in the office back to back ..... So I always used e machines with a large monitor.
So I have an iPad , can I post and download pictures.  Wait I am posting....does anyone use their ipad for blogging and if you do how do I retrieve pictures to clean up and watermark. ....
Much help is appreciated.
Or do I need a new laptop?

  1. I wish I could give you some advice but I don't know. I use our desk top computer to do blog posts and upload pics etc. I know you can do it with a laptop, but I have no idea about an ipad. I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems again with it.

  2. Hey Linda...
You need to go to your App Store on the Ipad....
Download the blogger app. ......and the photo editor app....they are both free....
I post from my Ipad while in Florida...it takes a while to get the hang of it...
You will need an extra plug in from your camera to the Ipad....I forget the name of that....got mine at Best Buy....
I remember you helped me out with my Picasa problems...happy to return the favor!
Email me if you have any questions....
Good luck...you will figure it out...
    Cheers!
    Linda :o)

  3. I am not computer smart enough to help you. I use my Kindle Fire a lot to blog with. Pictures are pretty good. As far as watermarking and things, I don't know. It' a little hard to post sometimes as you can't see where you are typing. I'm sure there is a way around it.
    Happy Merry Christmas

  4. I use a PC to do all my photos and blogs the PC's have larger drives and gigs and can handle more info like photos , and website codes the E machine's have had a bad rap as they aren't made to take on a lot of info , a good lap top can take on more info as it is like a mobile PC and you can get external hard drives for them to put your photos on separately to free up the space pf the lap top but all the Ipods, Ipads and all mobile androids will work but they dont have as much storage for a lot of things like photos , photos take up a lot space . even with my desk top computer PC I have to still have an external drive for storage and to back up things as most of these small ones wont even back up much at all if anything . If you want a lot of back up and space for photos or blogs or websites best bet is to either get a large bit lap top or a PC my PC is a 64 bit that is one of the largest personal home computers one can get . Hubs has the same and he has two as we both have a lot of photos and websites we deal with and he also uses his for work . We both have lap tops but they are just used as a portable computer to what we already have on our PC'S which means we can access them wireless ! What ever you choose just make sure it can handle the space for photos as well as websites as both need a lot of space ! Good luck , Thanks for sharing , Have a good day !

  5. Can't really help you with this as I use my desktop for blogging. I just find it easier to work at a desk with a large screen. Good luck!

  6. I'm not familiar with e machines ... I'm an Apple user. I can post from my iPad to my site, but I use Wordpress and not Blogger, so that will probably make a difference. All my devices are synced together. You can get various apps to post from your iPad and that should solve your problem. Know Linda (commented above) will give you good advice.
    Good luck with it all.
