On the Menu

Some days I feel like cooking......

                                You know what I mean......

              I cook everyday....breakfast , lunch and dinner......

But today I felt like baking and cooking...

                                                 Here's what's on todays Menu:

                                        Turkey Chili ,

                                                          Olive Demi Ciabatta Buns,

                                     Pineapple Upsidedown Cake

                                        Served warm

                           with a dollop
                      of whipping cream

This pineapple upside down cake was so
                           easy to make.

I followed Joy of Baking recipe

The turkey chili is my own recipe..........

                 What's on your menu tonight?

                        Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Your meal looks delicious! Since it's been cold here lately, we've been making chili too. Tonight we had chicken marsala over bowtie pasta and broccoli. No dessert though. I haven't had pineapple upside down cake in ages. That is SO good too.

  2. Well...I baked a blueberry buttermilk breakfast bread.....and we had pepper steak for dinner....
I must make some chili...wishful thinking, that we could eat it at the cottage, with a roaring fire...
    Not for a while, I'm afraid....:o(
    Enjoy your weekend, linda
    Linda :o)

  3. Smmm, you've got me thinking of getting in the kitchen today. Its so glorious outside, its the perfect day to whip up something wonderful. How about homemade foccaccio? But what else should I serve with it?

  4. I never thought to make turkey chili. It looks yummy.

  5. Oh my kids love pineapple upside down cake.... haven't made it in ages. Thanks for reminding me.

  6. Tonight we had an extravagant meal - cheese fondue with Italian bread, fresh vegetables and dip, olives, pickles and baked brie with roasted garlic on toasted baguette. Oh, and a glass or two of red wine to wash it down with. It was so delicious and something we don't have very often. I have to say, your Turkey Chili looks much more healthy and oh so good, too!
    Debbie :)

  7. Hi, Linda...your chili looks amazing and Pineapple Upside Down Cake is one of my favorites.
My mother used to make these for us and they were sooo good. :)
