And we are off......
to Bracebridge for lunch to celebrate 48 glorious years.....
Our first stop Gravenhurst ....we came upon a road that ran
parallel to Hwy# 11 Muskoka Beach Rd........
How windy the road was and scenic especially for this time of year......
This road took us directly to Bracebridge......
When we celebrated our 40th Anniversary we
had lunch at Inn at the Falls...Bracebridge....
so we decided to take a run up and eat there....
to our surprise the dining area closed
some 7 years ago and is now only a pub....
We were looking for fine dining.....
That's when we stumbled upon this restaurant...
Riverwalk....fine dining.....
dining area superb....
The ambiance was just what we were looking for....
Our lunch was impeccable!
We walked the quaint wee town and then
we were off on an adventure......
Then stumbled upon this unique store in a
old Muskoka Foundry....
Simply Cottage.......
Oh I could have shopped till I dropped......
Then we were off again....on Hwy#118 to Minden....
along the way we stopped at this lake.....just like glass.....
Breathtaking!!!
So here is where we ended up...at Kawartha Dairy Minden..
Had a scoop of my favourite icecream....
Then we headed for home....
What a perfect day with my best friend and love of my life.....

You almost had me worried when the restaurant you were expecting had closed its dining room. Glad you find another spot. I absolutely love that area of Ontario Linda and I am sure the fall colours right now are making it even more spectacular.
