Lucketts Mrkt too far soooo...

Lucketts market was too far for us in Ontario so we
did the next best thing and went out antiquing to
Cookstown.
Of course we went in the 49

It was a gorgeous day so we left around 9am and traveled to Cookstown.
Arrived around 11 am. There were tents set up outside for a flea market.
Great deals to be had.
As well we ventured on inside to a large barn filled to the brim.
So without further ado enjoy all the eye candy.

This is what I came home with.

8 black and white check place mats (new) $5.00
2 finials one large and one small $3.00
cute small metal sign $6.00

Then we had brunch at HOT STACKS.  Can you guess.
Pancakes, french toast, eggs and peameal bacon......
I had the apple cinnamon french toast. This came loaded on top of 4 slices of
french toast apples in sauce and whipped cream..  No diet that day.

Then we were off to the 400 Market and Antiques.

Outside booths as well as inside.  I picked up a case for my Black Berry.

Walked 2 and half hours inside the Antique mall. Came out with OOOO.
Well there is always another day.
Have a great week and thanks for stopping by.

  2. Great tour! Thanks for taking me along. Ha! I love the little french sign you bought. Love that cute red pickup too. BTW, yes my hair is natural curly like yours. Some days it's a curse and other days a blessing. I'm sure you can relate. Love your short hairstyle! My hair is VERY curly, so I tend to keep some length on it.

  4. Oh Linda, how fun is that! Who needs Luckett when you have Cookstown only two hours away. I could have spent hours upon hours in a place like that!! Love that 49 red pick-up. Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend, Gail

  5. Your truck makes me smile! I have always wanted to go to a sale like this, but I have never done it. There is one in Atlanta I have always wanted to visit...it is once a month and I can never seem to make it over there!

  6. Always love a good black and white gingham. Sounds like you are living the dream even if you did come home emptyhanded from the Antique Mall. Think of it like this..I bet you saved a ton of money!

  11. Hello Linda, Debbie Lou from Cookstown Antique Market here. Finally, I found the opportunity to read your blog and I love it!
I have to say that the trucks were the talk of the weekend. They looked so fabulous sitting in our parking lot in front of the barn:)
    You took some great pictures.
Come back anytime for another visit.
