Christmas in July

Yes it's never too early to start for Christmas.
My grand daughter is here with me for the summer break.
She loves crafts so we pulled out these.

First we spray painted them white.

This is her gem. I have a craft area set up in my studio and the paints and glitter and all
craft supplies anyone could imagine I have.  The grands just love it...

The next step was planning the colours and she chose blue for the base of the house
and a few shades of green for the roof.

Once painted and dried she added the pink to highlite the windows. Very clever.

Now remember she is just 8 years old. (Turning 9 in the next few days).

Then she went through Nana's stash of lace and added window coverings and outlined
the roof.   She is quite handy with a glue gun.

Sprayed the entire house with snow. (OUTSIDE)
Once that dried she added her glue and glitter.   Now this was a three day project.
NO rushing.

Added the cute tree and made the snowman with clay.  Took card weight paper, painted it
black then cut and pasted a hat together.

GREAT GLITTER HOUSE!!!!! Grand daughter...  Nana is so proud.

What have you started ??? Never to early!!!!

Thanks for stopping by.   I love hearing from you.
