Christmas Cradle

Mr W. has been busy in his workshop....

Christmas is not far away when you start building toys and ....

Here is a look at what he just finished.....  He makes them and I varathane them.

Next he passes the cradle to me and I take the measurements and proceed to make the

Doll Cradle layette....

First up is the mattress...

Then the small quilt.....

Then the pillow......

I have made all the pieces to reverse.  The pink is in a brushed cotton flannel and the quilt and

pillow are made of 100% cotton.  The little girls Mom wanted it to be in bright colours.

So I had used some of my 2 1/2 " squares that I have left over from other projects and set out to make

a doll quilt.  I sure hope she loves it.......

Another job done...... on to the next........

Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comments.
                                             They make my day...
