Winter White meet RED!!!

There is nothing more beautiful then fresh fallen snow!!!!

It's snowing here today .......... fresh fallen snow just outside our back door........

It hasn't been disturbed yet.........fresh on the branches.............

But.....this means for a dark day.................

So.....................................

Winter White meet RED!!

Pops of red throughout just makes the home feel brighter....................

How about a new recipe............That soup looks yummy............

New mitts made of Alpaca wool..................to keep your hands warm in the snow....

One red Hydrangea in a antique  jug....................

Red pines cones............red linens..................

Doesn't the colour red just make everything POP?????

Are you having a snow day?????

  1. No snow, but I'd like the same kind of day. :) It is rather cool, so a cozy fire is great. Enjoy your day!

  2. Good Afternoon Linda, Happy New Year to you. The freshly fallen snow looks beautiful in your first picture. I know the reality of living with it is slightly different. As you know I love red and it really looks lovely peppered throughout your home. Enjoy your day. Best Wishes Daphne

  4. It looks very pretty in the snow there Linda. We are getting light snow this afternoon and no wind for a change. It's very pretty out there. I love the pops of red in your indoor landscape. I hope you have a beautiful week. Stay warm.

  13. Your table looks great, Linda! I love those mittens! No snow days here recently. In fact, our snow is finally melting. I hear it could go up to 60 by Saturday, so I'm sure it will all be gone by then.

  15. I have a very similar water pitcher. I wouldn't have thought to use it as a vase, neat idea! I agree that pops of color are important inside when it is so dreary outside.
