My Front Porch

Or should I say our old front porch!

Thought I would share with you our front porch from the home we came from.

We down sized 5 years ago. Gee it doesn't seem that long ago. Anyhow this is where my
blogging started. On the front porch.

Many many memories made here.

On 2 acres in the country we purchased this house . Over 2500 sq. ft.

Weddings, gatherings, parties....all on this front porch.

So lets take a stroll down memory lane shall we..........

A large country porch!

A great place to hang my quilts.

Miss my front porch !

But I have some exciting news we are adding a sun room !!

Pictures and post to come soon.

Hope you have enjoyed this tour down memory lane.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. What a beautiful old farmhouse and porch! I love a porch like that with lots of room and a roof over it. It looks beautiful and I can imagine you spent a lot of time out there. Those red adirondack chairs are awesome! I can't wait to hear about your new sunroom. That would be awesome too! Looking forward to seeing this. Another spot to decorate too! :)

  3. What a beautiful home! I love that giant front porch and how cute you decorated it. We love our front porch and don't plan on moving to a house without one in the future. Since we live in the south it's even more important! Looking forward to seeing your sunroom! That will be a great addition.

  5. Wow, wow, wow!! My dream porch!! I can imagine many morning sitting with a coffee and many evening with a glass of wine. Amazing! After living in a house without a porch, I swore this house would have one. And of course, it doesn't. But that's okay, as we enjoy our backyard so much here. Can't wait to see the sunroom.

  9. Pretty porch...I miss my front porch, too...and the porch swing...lots of memories there.
However, I love where we are...being so close to son and his family...and his swimming pool is 6 steps out our dining room french doors...we are thinking of buying a porch swing on a holder and have it by the pool...I think we'd like it.
Hope you like living in your new home.
