Busy hands!!

                                           Welcome friends new and old!

I'm a knitter and a crocheter at heart.....love the feel of the soft yarn as it weaves through my
fingers!

Especially this yarn Stylecraft Special DK!

Awhile back I discovered this beautiful yarn and ordered it
                                           from the UK.

This is my first Ripple blanket and I'm so delighted on how it turned out!

This measures 42 x 48 inches and will be tucked away
with the other wee blankets I have finished .

My yarn stash is dwindling !

But before I order more yarn I must use up what I have.

Can you guess what I will be crocheting
                                                         with this yarn?

                                                 I'll give you a hint
                                                   Granny...........

                                         Thanks for following along,

  1. Your new blanket is so pretty, Linda. I wish I could knit and crochet. I have tried. My thumbs just don't work well anymore. Is your next one going to be granny squares?

  4. Are you making an aphgan for a grandchild? I don't knit so I have no idea! LOL! Your colorful one is very pretty. I like the wave pattern.

  5. Oh no, a dwindling yarn stash? How will you survive? (LOL)
Your blanket is beautiful. Great choice of colors, and I love the gentle ripple pattern.

P.S. Happy I Love Yarn Day!

  6. My daughter still has her ripple blanket from when she was a baby. I love that style.

  7. I love the colours on your ripple afghan. I've made a few ripple ones using the Attic24 pattern. I've been contemplating the Stylecraft yarn for ages now and just might have to order me some. Have you tried the granny stripe? perhaps that is what you are making with your other yarn. I've used the pattern for afghans and shawls, works up lovely.
