Asparagus Quiche

For Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner 
                             





Recipe:   Asparagus Quiche with Old Cheddar Cheese


All you need is a store bought 11 inch pie shell

preheat  oven 425 degrees
bake pie shell for 6-8 mins. till golden then set aside to cool
reduce oven to 325 degrees




Recipe for Asparagus Quiche:
Serves 6
2 tablespoons of butter
1 sm onion chopped finely
1 bunch of asparagus chopped into 1/2" pieces
pinch of cayenne pepper
salt and black pepper
1 tablespoon of minced garlic ( I used garlic salt)
2 tablespoons of mustard
5 eggs
1 cup of 10% cream
1 teaspoon grated nutmeg
1 1/12 cups of shredded old cheddar cheese











In a large skillet add butter


Asparagus, onion, cayenne pepper,garlic,pinch of salt and pepper saute for 6 minutes
for asparagus to soften , put aside

In a large bowl add mustard,eggs,10% cream,nutmeg and whisk together

Pour Asparagus mixture into prepared pie shell then add egg mixture and top off with grated cheese.

Bake in preheated oven 325 degrees for 35 minutes.

Plate it up:
